Employee Engagement Surveys
Measuring employee engagement and employee satisfaction are proven ways of ensuring the staff who currently work for your organization continue to stay. These electronic (or paper) surveys are handled confidentially and anonymously. Survey results are summarized and analyzed. Comparison data can be included in written reports with solid recommendations for improvement. Annual or bi-annual comparisons enable you to measure changes in the environment and take action to remedy or improve difficulties.
Organizations often choose questions targeted to learn more about issues they believe may exist in the organization (e.g. harassment, unfair treatment by a supervisor, desire for more career path options, more training and development, etc.). However, this will be a collaborative process where we can discuss the questions and how best to have them presented to your employees. People in Focus Consulting will provide the complete survey services by working with you to develop appropriate questions for an employee engagement survey, conduct the administration of the survey tool, collect the data, analyze the results, and provide a written report of the results and recommendations to address trends and issues.
Question Development
A series of questions will be provided to assist the organization in determining the right questions to ask about the views of the employees. For example:
- What is the organization doing well?
- What does the organization need to work on?
- What parts of working for the organization do the employees love?
- If another job were available for $1 to $2 more per hour, would they stay?
- What keeps employees working for the organization?
Data is analyzed and presented in graphical and report format. Specific recommendations will be based on the trends and issues identified in the survey results. An action plan will complete the written report, highlighting areas of opportunity or specific suggestions to correct issues.
